Case Study: Expansive Interior & Exterior Signage Project for LT Apparel Group’s New Greensboro Warehouse
Triad Signs Helps Group Brand Their New 800,000-Sq.-Ft. Distribution Center LT Apparel Group is a leading manufacturer of children’s apparel. Their family of brands includes popular lines like Adidas® Kids and Carhartt® Kids. With their design group already based at Revolution Mill in Greensboro, NC, LT Apparel Group recently expanded their North Carolina operations to include a distribution center at the Reedy Fork Corporate Park in Brown Summit, NC. This newly constructed facility, however, needed to be completely transformed with branded signage. This case study shows how Triad Signs, a division of Brand Connect, collaborated with LT Apparel Group and their designer to implement a creative, on-brand look throughout their facility. The Challenge LT Apparel Group recently moved into a brand-new facility. They had a blank palette of bare concrete and white walls that needed to be brought to life throughout their expansive 800,000-sq.-ft. warehouse. From dock doors to lobby signage and more, the company wanted a customized, branded approach throughout. The Brand Connect Solution Triad Signs, a division of Brand Connect, met with the LT Apparel Group team and their local designer, David Grubbs, to discuss their signage and property-branding needs. The initial conversation between the teams revolved around an exterior signage package. But through a collaborative process between Triad Signs and LT Apparel Group, we conceived and implemented a full range of interior and exterior branding solutions. The Results The signage and property-branding project for LT Apparel Group came to fruition in two phases. For phase one, Triad Signs has already installed an array of unique solutions. • Dimensional lettering for external building signage • Internal and external signage for 94 dock doors • Large wall graphics and signage throughout the warehouse • High-end, brushed aluminum lobby signage • Interior PVC marketing panels and cutouts for dimensional branding • 3M vinyl quotes on the walls of break room, cafeteria and office spaces • Logos and panels fabricated and printed directly on acrylic signage Phase 2 of the project will include the creation of a founders wall, an artificial green wall in the cafeteria, and additional branding throughout the warehouse. Conclusion Brand Connect’s collaborative approach turned this large project into a team effort that fully realized LT Apparel Group’s needs and provided unique signage solutions. This allowed Triad Signs to transform a bare, newly constructed facility into a vibrant, fully branded distribution center. And now that we’ve outfitted their facility, they can continue Outfitting the Future. About Triad Signs Triad Signs is a division of Brand Connect.
